Prior to uploading any files using FTP, you will need to have an FTP Account. An FTP account allows you to log into our servers to upload files for your website. The number of FTP accounts available is dependant on your hosting package.

Typically, an FTP account will automatically be created when your hosting account was opened. Details of this account would have been included included in the original account sign-up e-mail you would have received.
  1. Log into the hosting control panel at http://cp.calzadamedia.net
  2. Under the applicable hosting space, click on the FTP Accounts icon
  3. Click on the Create FTP Account button
  4. Enter the username and password of the new FTP account into the form (see Password Policy & Recommendations)
  5. By default, the new FTP account will have access to the entirety of your hosting files. To restrict access to a particular folder, click on the Home folder textbox and select the target folder from the drop down list
  6. Check the Read checkbox next to Access rights. Leave the write checkbox unchecked.
  7. Click on the Save button to create the account
    1. Note: if your chosen username has already been taken, you will be prompted to enter a different username.
