Calzada Media offers three methods for accessing mail accounts: POP3, IMAP and Webmail. By default, all mail accounts are POP3 enabled.

POP3 stands for Post Office Protocol version 3 and is the basic method for accessing a mail accounts messages. Virtually all e-mail programs and devices will support POP3.

POP3 is very basic, and unlike IMAP, is not geared towards being used with multiple computers or devices. With POP3, a mail account's messages are downloaded off the Calzada mail servers. Once a message is downloaded, it is removed from the mail server unless the mail program is configured to leave messages on the server.
