Configuring AutoConfiguration

Overview
Our standard mail services include full support for Mozilla Thunderbird AutoConfiguration. By default, AutoConfiguration is enabled for all standard mail domains.
This functionality and the contents of this article only apply to users of our standard mail services. It does not apply to Hosted Exchange users or customers that use a third party mail services.
Managing AutoConfiguration
The enabling or disabling of AutoConfiguration is done simply through DNS record for each domain
Enabling AutoConfiguration
To enable AutoConfiguration, create a DNS CNAME recordwith the following details
- Hostname: autoconfig
- Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN): autoconfig.calzadamedia.net
Disabling AutoConfiguration
To disable AutoConfiguration, delete the autoconfig DNZ zone record.
