Overview
This article provides configuration settings to use when connecting to Hosted Exchange through Blackberry Internet Services (BIS).
Blackberry BIS
This is a free method that may be used to connect to Hosted Exchange if Blackberry Internet Services (BIS) is enabled on your handset by your phone provider. Connecting and configuring BIS may be done either via setting on the handset or through your phone provider's website.
BIS will only provide access to emails in your Hosted Exchange mailbox. Sending or deleting emails from your handset will not synchronise with your mailbox. In order to synchronise your emails between your handset and your mailbox you will need to select one of the other services.
Connecting using BIS
Connection settings vary on whether you have an Exchange 2010 or Exchange 2013 account.
