Support article detailing how to recover deleted items in Hosted Exchanged.


This article explains how to recover deleted items in hosted exchange provided the messages were deleted within the last 30 days.

Recovering Deleted Items

With our Hosted Exchange service, it is possible to recover mail items that have been deleted from an Exchange mailbox within 30 days using one of the following processes:

Through Outlook Web Access (OWA) or Webmail

  1. Log into OWA at
  2. Right-click on Deleted Items and select Recover Deleted Items
  3. A dialog will appear listing items that available for recovery. Select the required items and click on Recover
  4. Another dialog will appear asking you where you wish to send the recovered items

Via Outlook 2007

  1. Open Outlook 2007.
  2. Go to Tools > Recover Deleted Items
  3. Select the items you wish recover.
  4. Click on the Recover button in the dialog toolbar (second from left)

Via Outlook 2010 & Outlook 2013

  1. Open Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2013
  2. Select the folders tab in the top toolbar
  3. Select Recover Deleted Items
  4. Highlight the items you wish recover
  5. Click on the Recover button in the dialog toolbar (second from left)
