Chesham Tigers is an amateur cricket club based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. They regularly play against other amateur clubs within Buckinghamshire and the Chilterns.
The Brief
Calzada Media were approached by the Chesham Tigers Cricket Club who were looking to create their own online presence. To differentiate themselves from similar teams, they were after a solution that would encourage discussion between members outside of the club training and playing sessions. The long-term aim of Chesham Tigers is to build an online discussion forum for use by amateur clubs through the UK.
The Solution
Following detailed discussions with club members, the ideal solution was a forum based website. There are a number of powerful forum solutions available, we deployed a version of MyBB customised to Chesham Tiger's requirements. To deliver a distinct brand to LegStump, we customised an existing theme with LegStump branding and created an independent signup process for other clubs.
To assist Chesham Tigers, Calzada Media has agreed to support LegStump for the first year of operation. As part of this agreement, our support team will assist in the day-to-day management and maintenance of LegStump.
