The Client
Crown Taxis is based in Amersham, Buckinghamshire and provides taxi and private hire services in and around the Amersham and Chesham areas.
The Brief
Crown Taxis were looking to have two sides to their website, an informational side and an administrational side. They wanted the website to have a nice clean design and have a user friendly interface. They wanted customer accounts where customers could sign in and manage their bookings.
For the administration side, they wanted us to create a system which would help their staff become more efficient and productive. This system would also reduce paper use in their office and have 90% of their data electronically stored in a secure database.
The Solution
The solution we provided for the informational website was a modern but simple design with a colour scheme which was easy on the eyes. A password protected client area was provided where customers would log in and manage their bookings. The administration system we produced has made many of their team's task automated which means they have more time to get on with other things. Data is encrypted and stored in a secure database, at the same time it is readily available from any PC with an internet connection.
The new system has removed almost all need for paper use and Crown Taxis are proud to say they are helping the environment by reducing paper use in their office.
