TaxiOffice is equipped with a Loyalty Points System which can help taxi companies gain new customers and more importantly gain customers from competitors. Think of it as an equivalent to Tesco ClubcardTM or NectarTM, but for your taxi company.
How does it work?
Every time a customer uses your service, you can allocate loyalty points to their account. The default points which are given away are 1 point per full £1 spent on your services. But you are not restricted to the default settings. These settings may be changed to suit your terms and conditions. For example, instead of 100 points being equivalent to £1 you may want to have 200 points equivalent to £1. It is totally up to you how you wish to use the system.
You'll be able to set individual customers to receive or not receive loyalty points. The amount of points given away may be changed on a per job basis.
How will it work for our customers?
The system is very convenient for your customers. There is no need for them to carry loyalty cards or remember their account numbers. Your customers simply make their bookings online and they receive points after their journey is complete. Customers can log into their online account at any time to view their points.
Customers can redeem their points by telling you how many points they'd like to use on a particular journey. You then deduct the points from the customer's account through the Admin website and provide the appropriate discount on the fare.
You may also reward valued customers by adding bonus points outside of normal jobs. For instance, you may reward customers who attract or recommend your taxi company to new customers.
How do our customers sign up for loyalty points?
They sign up just like any other customer who would register to use your TaxiOffice online services. In addition to loyalty points, TaxiOffice online customer accounts provide the following benefits to your customers:
- Booking Management
- Downloading invoices/receipts
- Track loyalty points (only if the customer account is set up to receive loyalty points)
How will our customers know how many loyalty points they have?
A good way to keep your customers up to date with their loyalty points is to use our Loyalty Points Newsletter facility to send emails to all customers signed up for loyalty points. This functionality is built into TaxiOffice and may be used as often as it is required. These newsletters may also be used to make customers aware of other special offers.
If we decide we don't want the loyalty system in our TaxiOffice website
If you decide at any time that you do not want the loyalty system or that it is not working for you, you can easily turn it off with a click of a button. However, we recommend the loyalty points system as it has been developed with the taxi trade industry and is known to work, but the decision is totally yours.
